Home for Christmas: Candy Christmas Play Kitchen

Thank you so much for the sweet comments on my Child’s Play Kitchen.  You all were so encouraging that it inspired me to make another one! I am so excited to share this makeover with you, I can hardly contain myself!

It really puts you in the Christmas Spirit doesn’t it?  Now be sure to scroll down further because I am joining the Home for Christmas Blog Tour hosted by Hometalk.com and CountryLiving.com.  At #HomeforChristmas There will be so much Christmas Eye Candy that you will not want to miss out on!

This sweet kitchen was previously a discarded computer desk that I found at my local thrift shop.  I frequent this shop so often that they now ask me “what are your plans for this one?”  The sales girl kind of looked at me funny when I told her it was going to be a kitchen, as if she could not envision it.

Well my vision was clear, I wanted it to be childlike and fun and make any little one feel right at “Home for Christmas”… A Country Christmas.

This makeover displays all of my favorite things:
The peppermints make me happy and remind me of my Peppermint Pattie Headboard Bench.

I am in love, love, love with my Nieman Marcus Gingerbread House!

The ruffles on the doors are so sweet and they open up to display lots of goodies.

And there are even more goodies on the sides, what every little one needs to cook up a fabulous imaginary Country Christmas Dinner!

I do declare that this vibrant red is my favorite color these days, especially around the holidays! and my birthday!

Thank you Hometalk and Country Living for hosting this fun Home for Christmas blog tour.  I cannot wait to visit the other talented bloggers joining in.

If you would like to know where I found all of the kitchen items, I have listed them all with thrifty shopping sources in THIS POST.

Speaking of  “thrifty”, I’m also sharing this post over at Thrifty Decor Chick today!
