Twas the Week Before Christmas

Twas the week before Christmas
and I’m in my home;
searching for inspiration
so to the blog world I roam.
So many neat projects
talented blog friends galore;
glitter, garland and tinsel
I long to make more.
Crafting and baking
gift giving and such;
where is My motivation
is that asking too much?
The news of our nation
seems so much to bear;
my own worries seem insignificant now
and I feel the need to share.
Share more of my heart
with my family and friends;
and to my precious children
for whom my love never ends.
So I hope you won’t mind
if I step away for a little;
and break from the blog
till next week in the middle.
Now you have a great Christmas
I hope it’s the merriest;
I appreciate your kindness
for you all I cherish!
Merry Christmas!
~Tami

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given: and the government shall be on his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

    A beautiful poem…. I know I've cut back on my blog recently and am enjoying the extra time with my family. It's so easy to get our priorities out of whack…. And thanks for the reminder of Who this season is really about. Merry Christmas!
