Remember when I shared with you the Spice Rack Nail Polish Organizer? I purchased an old Spoon Rack/Display at the same time.
I finally got around to painting it and it’s definitely getting more use now.

Here is what we started out with:
Of course it was brown! I guess no one believed in the power of paint in the 70s!

I painted it with two coats Annie Sloan Old White and Clear Wax.

I distressed the edges ever so slightly!
I added some small hooks along the bottom edges to hold smaller items such as bracelets and rings.

Done!

It fits in very well with our new chair makeover.
You can see the crazy ugly “before” of the chair HERE.

really smart and good looking too love it xx
I posted on FB that I painted mine and used it to display vintage hankies. When we downsized, I donated it. After seeing what you did with yours, I really wish I had kept mine. I have necklaces hanging on hooks in my closet currently. I guess I'll add this to my yard sale list!
Good idea and I also LOVE it for finger nail polish!! 🙂
This turned out great. Love how you used it for something so different.
